Medical diagnosis sharing application

HOW WE DESIGN THIS APPLICATION

Our application for sharing diagnoses and medical images deriving from X-rays, CT scans, Tomographies, etc. and from any type of medical machinery that supports the DICOM image protocol, it has been structured into three main sections::

  1.  Account section, registration and subscription
  2. File management section and documents
  3. Diagnosis section and sharing

Basically, the flow is very simple and linear following this scheme: the doctor or patient registers on the platform through a subscription, which can be weekly, monthly, yearly or even for a single service.
The platform administrator obviously decides what type of subscription to set and what are obviously the costs and other parameters, such as the permissions related to the platform.
The subscription then gives access to the account section, where the doctor or patient can check his payments, active subscriptions, remaining days until expiration, his company / profile data and thus fully control his account and levels. of permission.

Subsequently, the doctor or the client who uses the platform can access the files management panel, where he can perform many operations:

  • Upload your medical files online and make them available at any time (DICOM file)
  • Upload other types of files in addition to medical files (the system supports almost all file types, Word, Excel, PDF, images, videos and more)
  • CShare such files directly with other platform members, or invite external members to the platform for sharing via protected (password) or unprotected links.
  • Make appointments for diagnosis using the appropriate calendar.
  • Use the MEETING, VIDEO CALL AND SCREEN SHARING tool to share your information with other users
  • Access the medical DICOM reader for radiographic images

Further features are also planned that will eventually be released in future versions of the platform.

The last very technical diagnosis section uses the reader for DICOM images ALSO IN 3D used in X-ray machines, in intensive care, etc. etc. and has the right to read these types of images and make precise measurements of what is examined, such as in the case of an ultrasound. It can also render and display 3D radiographic and tomographic images directly on the screen.
Patient data can then be shared in real time with other doctors, thus eliminating waiting times which can sometimes be very long.
The application is mobile compatible and works like a web application, available at www.secondaopinione.net
